Elara Voss was decanted in 2198 in the Black Coastal Reconstruction Zone, one of the Terran Congressional Republic’s engineered crèche cohorts designed to produce high-aptitude assets. From infancy, aptitude indexing flagged her for exceptional stress tolerance, pattern recognition, and decisive action under moral ambiguity—metrics mirrored almost identically in her twin, Lyra.

At fourteen, the sisters were separated for specialized tracks: Elara into kinetic dominance and breach leadership. She excelled in live-fire CQB simulations, earning transfer to the 13th Urban Containment Legion at seventeen. By twenty-one, she had led her first arcology fracture operation under Commander Aurelia Virex.
